The Characters
Who are they?
Main Characters

Scoop
Scoop is a Case 1840 skid loader who was brought to the farm to help with cleaning manure out of the barn. Afterwards it was found that he could do many other tasks such as loading wagons, landscaping, and moving equipment around. Scoop talks a lot with the tractors on the farm, but is very shy around newcomers and often doesn't speak to them. Despite Scoop's shyness he still tries to complete any task he is given on the farm and wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
Trivia:
- Scoop has a variety
of loader attachments such as a bale spear, post hole digger, pallet
forks, manure forks, and a snowplow.
- Scoop's name comes from the action his machine performs, scooping various
materials such as rocks, dirt, grain, and manure.
- In the original series, Scoop's model was a Case 1845c skid loader.
- Unlike the other characters, Scoop's entire face is never shown all at once.
- Scoop was originally voice by Ryan Kitchen from Canada.

C
C is a 1950 McCormick Farmall C tractor and was the first to ever to work on the farm. Despite being close to 70 years old, she is still very young at heart. Because she is the smallest, she is often picked on and told she is better off as a museum piece. C most commonly carries out tasks such as moving around equipment, spraying crops, and running augers or elevators. She is also the only tractor used for moving wagons of hay into the barn during the summer.
Trivia:
- C is the most popular character in the series.
- Her original owner (Richard K. Thompson) gave her the nickname "Old
Reliable" because she proved to be such a credit to the farm.
- Sometimes when
she gets really angry her eyes will change from blue to red. She is the only character in the series to have
this ability.
- C is voice by the series' creator, Corrie Thompson.

Cyrus
Cyrus is an International 666 tractor who came to the farm in the early 1990's. He is in charge of cutting and tedding hay during the summer and also runs the conventional baler. He also does other jobs such as spreading manure and planting corn. Cyrus isn't known to get angry, but is quick to set bigger tractors straight if they are picking on C. He also has a front end loader and bale fork attachments to help Scoop move round bales off the fields.
Trivia:
- Cyrus is named after Cyrus Hall McCormick who founded the McCormick Harvesting Machine Company in 1847 which would later go on to become the International Harvester Company (IHC) in 1902.
- The International 666 was not one of IHC's more popular tractors, and therefore only a little over 9,000 were ever built.
- Cyrus was originally an International 1466 when the series was first created. His name (or number if you prefer) was also 1466.
- Cyrus was originally voiced by Daniel Master from Ireland.

Katie
Katie is a 1994 GMC dully pickup truck with an extended cab. She has worked on the farm for many years and belongs to Farmer Jim. She is very kind and caring towards everyone and considers all her friends on the farm to be more like family. She often hauls wagons and trailers on the farm and sometimes helps carry supplies for fence work. Katie is also somewhat of an older sister to C.
Trivia:
- Katie was originally painted bright red, but after years of working on the farm her paintwork began to chip and fade. Over time her red paint became pink and rust began to accumulate on her.
- Katie was rebuilt in 2012 after an accident she had. Aside from being repainted, she was also given new parts and upgrades so she could do heavier jobs.
- Katie was originally voiced by Blake Hawkins when the series first started.
- Katie's voice actor (Terri Fleming) is the mother of Eddie Fleming who does the voice of Cowboy Dave.

Jon
Jon is a 1998 Ford F-350. He is known to have a very bad attitude and often doesn’t speak to anyone unless addressed. Jon is the farms main truck and is in charge of most of the heavy hauling that Katie can’t do. Jon sleeps in the far stall of the red shed, and doesn’t like to be disturbed at night. He has also made it clear that he does not share his shed with anyone and is the reason why Katie sleeps in the garage of the farmhouse. Alongside 1086, John enjoys picking on other tractors and trucks and is sometimes known to be a trouble maker.
Trivia:
- Jon was originally meant to be a 1996 F-150 pickup. This never happened due to the model required not being available in 1:64 scale and no time to build one.
- Throughout the first season of the series, Jon was a blue pickup truck, but was repainted dark red and given a flatbed due to his original pickup bed being too rusted to salvage.
- Jon's name was originally spelled John, but the H was dropped for unknown reasons.
- Jon was originally voiced by John Murphy when the series first started.

Dodge
Dodge is a red 2008 Dodge Ram pickup who is owned by Cowboy Dave. He is a bit shy around others he doesn't know and tends to stutter because of this. When Jim was having trouble with John not wanting to work, Dave offered to let Jim barrow Dodge to help on the farm whenever he was needed. After working on the farm for some time, Dodge was registered as a certified farm truck. Now he works on the farm hauling wagons and trailers.
Trivia:
- Dodge's name is based on the name of his manufacture.
- Dodge secretly has a crush on Katie.
- When the series first started, Dodge was originally voiced by Michael Evens from the United Kingdom.
Equipment
Parker
Parker is a green Parker gravity wagon built on a Cobey running gear. He is very quiet and doesn't talk, but does have a mind of his own. Parker is hardworking and doesn't cause any mischief like the other wagons do. He is also the farms main gravity wagon and is often used for hauling grain from the fields.
Trivia:
- Parker is the only piece of equipment who is a character, but doesn't have a face.

Farmer Jim
Jim is the owner of Thompson Farms which was passed down to him in 2005 from his older brother Richard C. Thompson. He makes sure that agricultural operations are carried out and that every job done on the farm is done correctly. Although he does sometimes get annoyed with the tractors when they misbehave, he still considers them all to be a credit to the farm and knows things just wouldn't be the same without them.
Trivia:
- Jim's character was created sometime around 2008-2009.
- Jim was originally voiced by William Grubb.

Cowboy Dave
Dave is a cowboy who along with his wife, Elizabeth moved from Texas to Pennsylvania after his parents sold the family ranch. After arriving in Jefferson County, Dave stopped at the farm and asked Jim for a job as a farm hand. Jim hired Dave to help out by doing various jobs around the farm, and allowed him to rent out the back room of the farmhouse. Sometimes Dave will take over for Jim when he isn't around or just needs time away from the farm. Dave also has a truck named Dodge who sometimes helps him whenever he is working.
Trivia:
- Dave's character was created back around 2008-2009.
Elizabeth
Elizabeth is Dave's wife who he met back in Texas. Before meeting Dave, she worked with her dad at his horse farm in Texas, and then at Dave's parent's ranch when she got married. Elizabeth spends a lot of her time in the farm house either sitting at her sewing machine or knitting quilts. Occasionally she does go out with Dave when he is working in the fields and sometimes rides along with him on the tractor.
Trivia:
-Elizabeth has never had a speaking role since she was introduced, and therefore does not possess a voice actor either.

Other Characters

Clint
Clint is a 1971 International 756 tractor from West Virginia. He was originally purchased by a local farmer back in 1972, but over the years started to be neglected as bigger and newer tractors came to the farm. In 1991 Clint's owner sold him as a parts tractor back to the dealership he was purchased from and he was pushed back into the junkyard. In 2017, Clint was purchased by an older man who wanted to have him restored. He was then taken to Pennsylvania where Rod, Dave, and Mr. Allshouse restored him to like new condition. Clint is now a show tractor and occasionally works on some of the local farms around his West Virginia home.
Trivia:
- During production of Past to Present, 5 different 756 models were used for Clint.
- Model #1 had the 756 numbering on the sheet metal, but was never used because the other 4
models lacked this detail. This tractor can however be seen next to Clint as a character with blue eyes when he is still at the dealership in 1972.
- Model #2 was the primary model of Clint made to look like he did when new.
- Model #3 was made to look like Clint had suffered years of neglect from his owner.
- Model #4 was somewhat dismantled to be used for Clint after parts were taken off of him, but the scrapped model was used instead. Model #4 was however used for one of the tractors which was cut up in Clint's flashback, and this model was later redone to be used for Cyrus' model.
- Model #5 was weathered and used as a scrapped model of Clint for the present day (2017) footage.
- When Past to Present was written, Clint's name was originally going to be Boone.
- International manufactured the 756 in Rock Island, Illinois from 1967 to 1971. After 1971 the 756 was manufactured in Geelong, Australia up until 1983.
- Clint's scrapped model is currently owned by the YouTuber, Marty's Matchbox Makeovers.
- Clint is voiced by Alex Wittman.
